Personal

Dr. McCowin is a native of Idaho and is part of a long history of orthopaedic medicine here in Idaho Falls, as he joined with his father to practice orthopaedics in Idaho Falls in 1991. His wife Mary is also from Idaho, and they have four children, Cady, Maggie, Michele, and Ty. The McCowins support local charities, scholastics and athletics; Dr. McCowin is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and volunteers for the ski patrol at Grand Targhee.
